As Senior Director of Operations, Daryl has overseen Tulsa Remote’s expansion from 70 members in 2019 to more than 3,400 in 2024. Under her leadership, Tulsa Remote has redefined economic development strategies by attracting remote workers to Tulsa, earning numerous accolades, including the Oklahoma Venture Forum’s Economic Impact Award for 2024, recognition as a "Highly Commended" honoree in the Remote Excellence Awards 2024, and a place on Fast Company’s list of the 10 Most Innovative Not-For-Profit Organizations of 2022. The program has also been spotlighted in The New York Times for its transformative impact on civic engagement and reversing brain drain.
A native of Chicago, Daryl’s career spans multiple industries and cities, from New York to Los Angeles. Before joining Tulsa Remote, she led West Coast expansion efforts as Director of Operations for Flywheel Sports, overseeing eight locations and spearheading critical growth initiatives. She later served as Director of Operations and Digital Marketing for a boutique wine shop in Chicago, blending her operational expertise with creative problem-solving. A graduate of The French Culinary Institute, Daryl’s early career as a classically trained French pastry chef and yoga instructor speaks to her ability to merge artistry with discipline—a hallmark of her professional journey.
